Abstracts
Abstracts are something that we tend to struggle with – either we have none submitted, or multiple. And where to put them in the schedule is always a discussion point with no perfect solution, so for this meeting we have decided to invite poster submissions rather than abstracts. Please prepare your poster as you would for any congress or event, it will be displayed for the duration of the event in the sponsor and lunch area.
Posters should be submitted no later than 8 weeks prior to the BVDSG meeting at which they are to be presented.
All posters will be considered on their scientific merits by blinded scrutineers. After acceptance posters may be withdrawn but no alterations will be permitted.
Posters should be no longer than 800 words and written in 12-point Times New Roman, Microsoft Word 2007 compatible. They should comprise of an introduction, materials and methods, results, conclusion and essential references. They should also include the names and affiliations of the authors (with the presenting author indicated) and any possible conflict of interest.
Posters should be e-mailed to the BVDSG proceedings editor (MS Word or compatible format) prproceedings@bvdsg.org.uk. Authors will be informed whether their posters have been accepted as soon as possible after submission.
